Friends of KickDopa
He's got a dozen accents, millions of fans, and a day job selling signs. Here's the real story of how Tony from LC Sign ended up in the KickDopa corner — and why it just made sense.
“What's up homie, it's Tony.”
If you've been anywhere near TikTok or Instagram lately, there's a good chance a grinning guy from Guangzhou has sold you a light-up sign — in a flawless Texan drawl, a Peaky-Blinders growl, or a spot-on Trump. That's Tony. Millions of followers, a dozen accents, and a day job most people would call boring: he sells signs.
But the story of how Tony ended up working with KickDopa doesn't start with a sign, a camera, or an accent. It starts with a conversation — and a problem Tony knew all too well.
First — who is Tony from LC Sign?
Tony is the face of LC Sign, a Guangzhou signage factory that's been making LED signs and neon since 2011 — and one of the most-followed Chinese creators in the world.
He joined in 2022 as a regular salesman. Then in 2023 he started filming his product demos in different accents — an idea he borrowed straight from comedian Russell Peters — and quietly became an internet phenomenon. Today he's past 3 million followers, and, refreshingly, he still describes himself exactly the way he always has:
“I never set out to be famous, and I'm not doing this for attention. I'm just a salesman.”

It started with a conversation
One day, KickDopa's founder got talking with Tony about the product — and Tony was genuinely curious, because it hit close to something he already knew well.
Staying sharp through long days
A lot of the people who follow Tony grind through long days — on camera and off — and the hard part is staying locked in for hours at a stretch.
Tony got it, because he runs on focus himself. Writing scripts, going live, shooting take after take — he needs to stay sharp for hours at a stretch. For years, his fix was coffee, and a lot of it. But coffee is coffee — and on days packed with filming, it's honestly a hassle: every time he needed another lift, he had to stop what he was doing and order another cup.

So he tried KickDopa
Our founder's pitch was simple: here, try mine. Tony did — and it just fit the way he actually works. It's nicotine-free. It's pocketable, so there's no ordering, no waiting, and no stopping mid-shoot. And the big one for a guy who talks for a living: it didn't get in the way of his mouth or his voice while he was filming.
He liked what was in it, and he liked that it matched his pace — a cleaner, more modern way to stay switched on through late-night scripting and long shoot days. What started as a friendly “here, try this” turned into a real collaboration.
Kick in, dopa up
And if you're wondering about the name — that's the whole philosophy in three words. Kick for the clean energy that gets you going. Dopa, as in dopamine, for the good, focused feeling that comes with it. KickDopa isn't about just staying awake; it's about actually enjoying the work you're locked into — hitting your goals and feeling good getting there.
Which is exactly why it landed with Tony. His entire job is making millions of strangers smile. Energy that comes with a little built-in joy? That's his language.
Why Tony and KickDopa click
Once you see it, the fit is obvious. Three things, really.
One: personality over polish. Tony said something we've basically got framed on the wall — “in a world full of polished ads and corporate talk, what really connects with potential buyers is honesty wrapped in humor. It breaks down walls faster than any sales pitch ever could.” That's KickDopa's whole personality too.
Two: obsess over the actual product. Tony only backs gear he genuinely believes in — you can tell, because he keeps daring people to test it. We're identical about what goes into a pouch: if we wouldn't reach for it ourselves before a long day, it doesn't ship.
Three: young, bold, allergic to “the way it's done.” A signage guy doing accents. An energy brand that refuses to be boring. Neither of us plays our category the safe, expected way — and honestly, that's the whole point.
A few more questions for Tony
We had him for a few more minutes. Here's Tony, unfiltered.
1. In your own words — why say yes to KickDopa?
I need to be locked in every day — writing scripts, running the team — and for years that meant a lot of coffee. But coffee isn't always easy to grab the second you need it, and I need to top up fast. So I was open to a newer way to get my caffeine, ideally with something to help me focus. Right around then, KickDopa's founder reached out and told me about it. Once I understood the product, I tried it — and it worked really well. No nicotine, none of the stuff I don't want, great all around. A box has 20, so it's perfect to grab quickly while I'm filming voiceovers. And it comes in a coffee flavor, which happens to be my favorite.
2. Our whole thing is “Kick in, dopa up.” Does it line up with how you think about your own work?
It really fits me. Like the name says, it's about bringing people a bit more joy. Caffeine doesn't hand you happiness directly — but it helps you do your work better. And for coffee lovers especially, when you're grinding hard every day and trying to stay focused, a good boost lets you throw yourself into the work in a happier headspace. So yeah — that's exactly how I think about it.
3. You almost walked away in those first six months. What kept you filming?
I knew social media was a hugely important channel, and at heart I'm still a salesman — of course I wanted to bring people some joy. So I didn't overthink it. I just wanted to take the company's products and the things I could do, and put them together for everyone to see. I kept experimenting — and lucky for me, it turned out to work.
4. Do you remember the first video that truly blew up? What did it feel like?
Happy, of course. But I was straight back into writing the next script. That one video gave me a real bit of confidence.
5. Before KickDopa, how did you actually keep your energy up?
Honestly? Coffee — a lot of it. I'd just order another delivery whenever I needed a boost. It worked, but it was never exactly convenient.
6. You talk and film all day. What does KickDopa actually change about your routine?
Sometimes I need to keep topping up, and I need to do it quietly. On long shoots I'm in front of the camera nonstop and can't really do anything — so I went with something I can just tuck in and top up my caffeine discreetly. It's changed my old one-coffee-at-a-time routine. I still have a coffee now and then, but now I've got a really convenient option — pop it in anytime, anywhere, and let it kick in. It doesn't get in the way of my talking, and there are a bunch of flavors to choose from, so I think it's pretty great.
7. Funniest thing between us that never made it on camera?
The funniest stuff came out of writing scripts together with the KickDopa team — some of the things we came up with. I won't spoil it here, though — keep an eye out for the official collab video.

The takeaway
Tony didn't game his way to millions of followers. He refused to be boring, refused to fake it, and refused to back anything he didn't believe in — all while making millions of people happy along the way. That's the exact energy we put in every pouch: kick in, dopa up — clean focus, a little everyday joy, minus the nicotine and the coffee crash.
Kick in, dopa up. Tony sells signs his way; we make energy pouches ours — clean, nicotine-free, and built to help you focus and actually enjoy the grind. If you want the coffee flavor Tony reaches for on set, shop the KickDopa coffee caffeine pouches and run on your own terms.
